🔻 The Darker Depths of Eden Hollow | Key Locations in the First Book

Each location in Eden Hollow’s underground is not just a setting—it is alive, breathing, waiting. The heroine’s journey through these places will shape the horror, obsession, and inevitable destruction that leads to the town’s fall.

Now, let’s go deeper into each place.

📍 1. The Nightmarket | The Auction of Souls

💀 What it looks like:

  • Hidden beneath the surface, lit only by iron lanterns and the glow of burning brands.
  • Stalls built of blackened wood and stained metal, each selling something worse than the last.
  • The air is thick with perfume and filth, the scent of sweat and fear masked by burning incense.
  • Buyers wear masks, some animalistic, some featureless, all concealing their true identities.

💀 What is sold here?

  • People, stripped of identity, trained for obedience.
  • Scarlet chains, branding someone as a permanent possession.
  • The Stillborn Dolls, women locked in enchanted sleep, their bodies frozen in time.
  • Memory-infused wine, made from the stolen dreams

📍 2. The Red Sanctuary | The Training of Brides

💀 What it looks like:

  • A cathedral carved into stone, its walls veined with gold and bone.
  • Candles burn in rows of hundreds, dripping red wax onto the marble floor.
  • The pews are filled—not with worshipers, but with silent women, dressed in white, their hands folded in their laps.
  • The air smells of roses and blood.

💀 What happens here?

  • Women are taught silence before they are taught anything else.
  • A priest places a chain around each girl’s throat—the first lesson of devotion.
  • They learn that love is obedience, pain is purity, and pleasure is given, never taken.
  • Some never pass the final test.

📍 3. The White Ward | The Mind Rewriting Experiments

💀 What it looks like:

  • An abandoned asylum, its halls lined with rotting doors and rusted locks.
  • The walls whisper. Voices that shouldn’t be there. Voices that never leave.
  • Light flickers from gas lamps, casting shadows that seem to move on their own.
  • Rows of beds, each with iron restraints, some still occupied.

💀 What happens here?

  • Women who refuse submission are taken here to be reconditioned.
  • Memories are erased, rewritten, or reshaped to match the town’s expectations.
  • Some women do not leave human.
  • The doctors are not healers—they are sculptors, carving obedience into the mind.

📍 4. The Flesh Cathedral | Where Beauty is Preserved

💀 What it looks like:

  • A grand, gothic cathedral of obsidian and bone, its walls lined with glass cases, each holding a perfect body.
  • Some of the bodies are still breathing. Some still blink.
  • Silk curtains drape the rooms, concealing figures that should not move.
  • The air smells like perfume and decay.

💀 What happens here?

  • The most beautiful, perfect bodies are turned into eternal art.
  • Some are made into living statues, their bodies reshaped into unnatural perfection.
  • Some are placed into glass cases, frozen in time, never aging, never speaking.
  • Once a body is chosen for preservation, there is no escape.

📍 5. The Hollow Citadel | The Hidden Rulers of Eden Hollow

💀 What it looks like:

  • A massive stone fortress, buried deep beneath the town, untouched by time.
  • Tall iron gates seal its entrance, with symbols carved into them, warning those who enter.
  • A grand hall filled with masked figures, each sitting in high-backed chairs, silent. Watching.
  • At the far end, a throne of obsidian and gold, empty. Waiting.

💀 What happens here?

  • The rulers of Eden Hollow meet here, deciding the town’s fate.
  • They do not live above ground. They do not die.
  • The highest seat has been empty for years—but some say its rightful heir will return.
